Keanu Reeves and Johnny Depp are two of the most renowned actors in Hollywood. It’s hard to imagine just how many requests have been made to cast them together in a movie. Both stars have devoted fans who are drawn to their down-to-earth personalities and humility. And their favorite stars never disappoint. They were deemed to be 90s heartthrobs for a reason.

In an interview with the UK music magazine Smash HitsReeves revealed that he thinks thestar is undoubtedly better looking than himself. Although people cannot choose between the two, that doesn’t mean people agree with what he said. Reeves is extremely modest when it comes to receiving compliments, or in this case praising himself. Therefore, these likable qualities make him a hit with his fans even more. In an interview with The Independent declared himself to be “ saying,

 “I’m a meathead. You’ve got smart people and you’ve got dumb people. I just happen to be dumb.”

This is not true at all, but he’s one such actor who did not let the fame and money get to his head.  He had to work extremely hard to get where he is today. Reeves also said time and again how he is to make all the money that he simply wants to give everything away, and he does too. Reeves subsequently had a hard life and did not come from money like a lot of people in Hollywood, therefore, he never let money dictate his happiness. In that same interview, he described what happiness means to him,

“lying in bed with my lover, riding my bike, sports, happy times with my friends, conversation, learning, the earth, dirt, a beautiful repast with friends, family with wine and glorious food and happy tidings and energy and zest and lust for life. I like being in the desert, in nature, being in extraordinary spaces in nature, high in a tree or in the dirt, hanging out with my family, my sisters.”

And to be honest, many people could not help but fall in love with the actor after his wholesome answer. He was often compared with his fellow actors, and one time he was asked what he thinks of Johnny Depp. Although not assured, this question was asked to stir up some controversy between the two actors.

He spoke about his career journey and the importance of each opportunity that led him to where he is right now. Reeves had a great deal of admiration for the actor for choosing his role based on his own judgment, without taking into consideration the monetary gains. He said,

“Johnny Depp had another world happen to him – he got locked into that television series [21 Jump Street], and television is seen by more people than I’ll ever dream of.”

Reeves then stated his opinion on the actor’s looks, saying,

“And Johnny Depp’s better looking than me,”

The fellow actors have great regard for each other and continue to admire each other for the choices they made career-wise.
