"Charlie's Angel" star Cheryl Ladd and  are starring in the upcoming movie "A Cowgirl's Song," now filming in Chickasha. 

 writer-director Timothy Armstrong is back in the Sooner State to lens the fourth installment in the series. 

“I’m so excited to come back to the wonderful state of Oklahoma to film this new 'Cowgirls ‘N Angels' movie and thrilled to be filming in Chickasha. It’s such a beautiful classic Oklahoma town, and the support and cooperation from city officials and residents has been remarkable,” Armstrong said in a statement.

 also stars Savannah Lee May (Julie And The Phantoms, The Secret Lives Of Cheerleaders) and 

The Imaginaries will co-star, co-produce, work as music supervisors and score and write the soundtrack to the film.

"We always love working with Timothy Armstrong on his films,” McClure and Henry said in a statement. “This one is very special to us as our music is such a huge part of the film and we get to have great roles in it as well! "A Cowgirl’s Song" is a music-driven coming-of-age drama that follows an aspiring but adrift teen singer who goes to live with her grandmother, a one-time country music legend who has fallen on hard times after the death of her husband. Together, they overcome adversity and find redemption through their love of music.
