My first reaction when I went to Barcelona was that the local streets were too clean, much neater than any Italian city I have ever visited, and there were no stinking garbage cans everywhere!! Rome is currently the most row by row of large trash cans I have seen on the street, perhaps because I have traveled a lot of roads.
