Disneyland is set to adjust its pricing. While the entry-level tickets for this California theme park will remain at $104, the same as the last six years, prices for other tiers will increase by $7 to $12, which translates to raises between 5.9% and 6.5%.

Similarly, the prices for the Magic Key annual passes will rise by 6% to 20%, equating to increases of $100 to $125, depending on the type of pass. These price changes will take effect beginning on the 9th.

Disney has faced criticism for the costs of its park tickets and hotel accommodations, with many consumers feeling that these prices are already too high.

Despite this, Disney continues to offer discounted tickets and hotel stays for those who choose to visit the park during off-peak periods. Last week, it was announced that a $50 children’s ticket promotion will roll out on October 22, usable starting January 7. Disney will also implement a 20% discount on hotel rates beginning in January.

Similar to airlines and the hotel industry, pricing for Disney theme parks varies according to demand. This means that visiting the park during certain times will be more expensive due to higher attendance, with major holidays like Christmas and Halloween being prime examples.
